If people have not heard the good news on this thread yet.
MSFT is going to pull the tech up tomorrow.
In after hour trading some people reported quotes as high as $89

better-than-expected Q3 results; sees Q3 profit of at least $0.48 a share, higher than the First Call estimate of $0.44 a share; in the year-ago period, it earned $0.40 on revenues of $3.21 bln.....

Long MSFT,

billwot. I think WS finally decided that Coms earnings were a non event. Most analysts decided that their stuffed channels were a thing of the past and the stock reopened a bit up.

Msft had an earnings warning to the upside after the bell CNBC reported. That should be very good for techs tomorrow. Msft did say though that this quarter would be their best for the year. Of course they always say that so nobody pays attention and the stock is up over 4 to almost 90.

APM was a pretty lucky call. I did not expect it to move that quickly. SEG has gone up for quite some time and Qntm also. They left APM behind and I just figured it was time for an up move. If there are 1 billion computers connected by the turn of the century I am sure we will need some disk drives gg unless something much better comes along. Now I am hoping for a further advance but will try not to be too greedy like last time.

I guess you participated in the up move today?

Intel will turn around one of these days in a big way. I am just hoping that we will not have to go down again first. With all those high PE stocks out there, Intel is a bargain where I come from.

Csco is a networking company and Csco, Intel and Msft are still No.1 in their categories. You know how those internet stocks are going through the roof, so Csco is a cheap play when you think about it. Sure wish I had not been chicken on Msft. The PE keeps going higher and so is the stock. gg.
