You can trade online with market orders only... If you want to place a limit order you have to use a live broker.

That is not consistent with my experience.

The only thing I use WaterHouse for is BB stocks and always use limit orders.

I disagree! I trade on line with limit orders all the time. In fact I have a limit order in now with waterhouse.
