Wrong LevelHead, stock may move up early based on Microsoft rally in tech tomorrow, but 3Com will no doubt be down by the end of day. In fact, since Coms has rallied from 33 the last couple of days, I would not be at all surprised if Coms opens down. I would not say it will be a bloodbath, but look for a decline of at least a point. All this crap about inventory being under control isn't going to be enough to glaze the eyes of investors over their poor performance. Did Coms mention they were gaining market share for any of their products? Did they say they were predicting higher margins in modem business? None of the above, simply cleaning up inventory channel won't be enough to move this stock higher in the short term. 3Com should thank Microsoft and the general state(ignorance) of the market, in any other environment, this baby would have gotten killed.
