One minute you are buying (or so you say) and the next minute you are slamming... RE: KZAP Roger, Shorts love a good momentum play just as much as longs. And, contrary to popular belief, you CAN short the pennies. Now if someone believed a stock would rise, then fall sharply they could buy low, sell high...then do a 180 and short sell at the high and cover [buy] at the low. Then start all over again. Now, when a personality pops up that is with everyone on the way up, then suddenly turns against the stock, dollars to donuts, you've got a two-faced-long-shorter. Question: What is this type of player called in the industry? Rande Is
