Many Sunday papers from around the US also have prominent advertisements for vehicles built by KIA and Hyundai

Tom, Re: "Computer City, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Office Max, and Office Depot all featured
AMD K6-based systems prominently in the Sunday paper here in Atlanta."

I said I WENT TO Fry's four times in the last two weeks and saw no K6 machines. They probably have some, but the Intel based ones must be in all the prime locations, like in the row under the "Computers" sign, near the best monitors, printers, etc. The K9's are probably over near the $20 scanners.

As far as ads in the paper go, you know as well as I do that sometimes a store of any kind will advertise a "loss leader", just to get you to the store, and have only one or two of them in stock. It happened to me a while ago, when my son needed to upgrade his hard drive when going off to college. One of the less prominent electronics stores advertised a "weekend special" in the Friday San Jose Mercury News
for what was a good sized drive then. We got there at 10 am Saturday and they were "all out". I haven't been back there since. Fry's usually works, as long as you know what you need.

Over and out on this one.
