As time passes on, it is easy to forget one's contributions. Caroline's dd was fabulous and a major reason for the truth surfacing.
Thanks once again!

Caroline,
I don't know where or when you posted Elrod's phone nr, but if it was at SI, then I wouldn't have seen it as I was not a member there.

I did attempt to do my own due diligence, as I do with any stock I consider owning. I emailed the company twice for a due diligence file, finally getting a letter back saying they were revising the material due to the name change. I finally called and told them that was BS as I specifically asked for the 10Qs, 10K, and news releases, all of which would not be altered. I was not interested in sales literature, which was presumably being redone. I also continued to check the SEC site, and did not find the only report ever filed there available until early Jan 97. I don't know what happened to it in the meantime, since Ken says it was Edgarized in late Oct or early Nov.

I did eventually receive the 153 page Form 10 (and I like Ken's comment, it does read like it was written by a paralegal), but by then it was too late to salvage more than a small part of my investment, and I elected to try and ride it out, still believing in the company issued news releases. After all, I wasn't buying the stock on some internet inspired rumor, I was buying it on the basis of releases from the company itself, and that's supposed to be sancrosant.

The SEC was quite interested in reviewing the "due diligence" file I had received, and I loaned it to them many months ago. I can't confirm if the SEC yet has read this huge document in its entirety.
