Ken,

Have you perused the most recent edition of Year/2000 Journal?? They have a discussion on "masking" vs "windowing" techniques.

As for TAVA, I suspect that they will be very busy for many years after 2000 assisting companies in sorting out their factory floor problems as well as increasing efficiencies in order to compensate for the money they had to spend on system maintenance and remediation.

While I understand we will have to find a new support level, I still bullish on TAVA and expect $40+ this year. Now the real question is whether that will be a pre or post split price.... <wink>

Keep fighting the good fight.

Regards,

Ron

re: need to make long-term fixes on the short-termers. Is TAVA a player here?

Ken - I say yes. Many companies, too late out of the blocks, will be getting "band-aid" fixes to keep them alive on 1-1-2000, leaving more work to do after the big day.

From today's press release on ATEC acquiring Logix. Just a little grounding for some of my fellow longs. There are competitors. Hopefully not serious ones.

>>Logix has the capability, within its own factories and those of its partners, to provide Y2k clients with complete Year 2000 solutions.
These include: review of corporate Year 2000 readiness; detailed Year 2000 costing and impact assessments; remediation of code to
cure Year 2000 problems; remedial actions regarding Embedded Chips; and independent inspection and verification process for
mission critical systems. <<

Cheers,
Bond
