Dear Parcival:

These were my comments:

>>>>>But while tainted, you can see some great examples of Christ like qualities , especially in older saints of God; and not to forget mentioning the childlike qualities of innocence and beauty and purity.

And ; you know I have seen some beautiful qualities in people that do not profess Christ and some awful qualities in those that do.

<<<<<<<<

In a way, every face we see, every soul we come into contact with should remind us of God; but as to your question of another "face " of God if by that you mean another "facet" of God, then I would agree. Man was made in the "image" of God; and if by a stretch of the imagination that includes our limited feeble attempt to try to visualize God then so be it.

But, we must worship God in "spirit and in truth" and not visually ( if I am making myself clear). God is a spirit and we must worship and approach Him in the spirit realm. That is why, it is one of the BIG TEN sins to make any kind of graven image and worship it; God does not want us approaching Him in any way shape or form that would "limit" our understanding of Him by the mere presence of an image of man made hands with God made materials.

Yes Yes !! I know billions of dollars are spent on everything from cathedrals to plastic jesus'es hanging from mirrors in pick up trucks: but all I am saying is that our approach to God is not by these material "things" but by the "spirit" in a dark closet, or on a secluded park bench or on a mountain top.

The problem, as I will recapitulate on this thread, is not the goodness or God-like qualities that exist even in sinners or people bound for " outer darkness". It is, what is the "solution" for the few or many or maybe only one little sin that a person commits.
**For those not under the blood**
In these cases God will go back to His Law and the whole law will condemn that person; for he says that if you break one of the law you have broken all the Law and will be punished as if you had broken the whole Law. That is why "outer darkness" is such a severe penalty; because the punishment is for the worst of the worst offenders-- as if those had broken the whole Law.

So also , the "offenses" that good Christians commit also is not the problem; because they are covered by the blood of Jesus.

BUT !! Just as king David was immediately forgiven by God that did not mean he did not have to suffer the consequences; and severe they were. Sin will bring down your kingdom, put you in bondage, take away your authority in Christ, remove your anointing for ministry, give additional powers of the enemy over you and in about a million other ways mess up your best day so I encourage you brother just as I encourage myself; give the enemy no advantage over you; and when you do mess up immediately ask God for forgiveness so that your prayers will not be hindered.

In Christ..gregor
