I'm inclined to believe that increased revenues and earnings will increase Sun's stock price and to the extent that institutions are going to demand standard Java tools, applications and components it will help Sun's stock price. Microsoft just announced that the next two quarters will come in at least 8% above analysts' expectations which is why the stock is moving forward. Java has just hatched and what you're seeing before your eyes is Microsoft approaching a peak which will probably last for at least another year.

Say,
without the creative accounting, what are the real numbers of MS' earnings? Anyone?
