Mike, I must mirror David's comments. Although I too would like to have the outstanding shares verified.......BANY has always been consistent with the numbers they have offered me. And although a bit of study is needed to figure out who must be holding what, the setup is not that foggy...really. I'm certain in my own mind that someone was selling over 500,000 shares of BANY to posters on this thread over the last five months. Some days there were all buys by us with above average volume...and the stock went down. There were days when there were all sales, but nobody on the thread selling...and the stock went down......Identical mirror trades. The company has spoken of steady short selling for many months now.....Most know the story.....and it sure seems real to us. I have felt that the mirror trades were one MM selling short shares to another MM......and then having the shares sold back to the first MM to be put in his inventory and then later sold to a real person....like me. It is as though they were laundering the stock. I'm not sure what happened today....except that all but 9,000 shares of volume were mirror trades. Since I can't imagine anyone being so foolish as to short this stock now.......I believe it must have been simple trades back and forth being recorded as sells in order to drop the bid two cents....in an effort to induce real selling. I have no other answer for what the log showed today.....except MM games. Can a level II identify the MMs making the mirror trades? bg
