As long as FTEL is below 4 (has to stay 4 or above for 30 days or more) - it doesn't stand a snowball's chance of getting NASDAQ
at this point (unless it somehow applies retroactively...but I
think it's at the point in time that listing is to take place..)
FTEL definately needs to improve their record keeping re: shareholders - as
many people (including myself) never received anything in
the mail re: shareholders meeting etc.
(vs. other BB companies that I have that do send me stuff)
Sparrow leaving didn't help the price...(as well as lack of press releases..& the insider sales last year & Form 144's filed this year with "intent" to sell (which you are not supposed to do unless you actually intend to..)
Here's the link to NASDAQ listing requirements..

Luckily - I bailed out around 4.5ish...But if FTEL gets down
into the 2's (esp low 2's) - I may pick some up again..
I just haven't seen the marketing...
Granted - they are setting up a great network - with
future expected revenues - but it may be at least a year
before those revenues start flowing in significantly...
with tons of additional competitors entering the field
each day (granted - lots of biz to go around...but I don't see
FTEL establishing any good alliances with the likes of Bay,
Cisco, or Ascend - as other players have done, & haven't
seen them attempt to standardize with another vendor to
increase the reach of the network even further - etc. etc.
Good tech - but poor marketing..
At some point - you have to look at fundamentals and the competitive environment...Probably fairly valued based on existing environment
in the 3's..(if it wasn't for warrents, 144's etc. - which
makes me wonder if even that is fair..)
Thus - I liquidated most back in the 4's - but will get back
in if I see demonstrated changes & some alliance building etc.

Ozemail is a good long-term play I think - since they are in
the heart of $4/min territory in Australia for LD, have deals
with Cisco, have a network already set up and running, have
a great web site & growing pop. search engine, have visionary
management (not that Frank isn't -- he is - but in a more technical sense...not marketing or alliance building..)

You can't let your emotions wed yourself to something...you
have to look at reality at some point..
I still think that Frank & Co. can pull it off if they implement some of the suggestions above..& will probably still be a good long
term play... Personally - glad I made the move - as I pre-empted a further decline & doubled my money in the things I put the bucks into..within a week...DGIV etc. (which has a nice web site - agressive management in the marketing arena etc.

Per chart - initial listing bid price is 4 bucks..
