Someone SOLD 1000 OCT98 12 1/2 puts for 2 7/8.. that is 100 000 * 2.92 = almost 300k someone is betting that the price will gbe above 12 1/2. They did this near the end of the day. In fact they also sold 1000 APR 12 1/2's earlier.. But the most signicificant thing is they also sold 600 MAR 15 puts around 1:45 for 3 3/8, 1000 MAR 15's around 1:50 for 3 1/4, 1000 mar 15's around 2:05 for 3 1/8, 1000 MAR 15's around 2:10 for 3 and 1000 mar 15's around 2:45 for 3. Now tell me, are these the kind of players you want to go up against? I know APPRO is but.. I am not long or short this stock, Was long a long time ago and got ass kicked.. Rigt now I think its a short but not with these kind of players entering the market which means this is a short busting going on!

Hmmm. Last time you mentioned that there leverage word was just before QNTM lost 25% in a single day..(which happened to be the day you convinced me to buy) Not that I'm blaming you LK, but I think I'm gonna hold off until the volume(panic) slows. Last time APM had a big run like this was in Jan. They had a big day after a big day. I'm looking for entry in the high $13s today. Just a gut feeling. Actually I was quite surprised to see that the short interest was down to 10.3mil in Mar... todd
