"COMS CEO Eric Benhamou Resigns"

"COMS CEO Eric Benhamou resigned this evening after his company released dissappointing earnings. Mr. Benhamou stated that he feels his ability to run the 5 billion dollar corporation is inadequate and would be best served by a change at the top. Mr. Benhamou added that COMS Board has already found a replacement for him in the form of a family of monkeys. "They are better at finance and marketing", said a dejected Mr. Benhamou, "...and they will work for bananas."

The monkeys were not available for comment."

I am new here and don't know much about shorting stocks, but isn't a company run by monkeys a bad sign. From a technical analysis point of view, doesn't it show a negative cross-something on a lower bollinger-banana band.

Short on 3Com

Agree with you. As to whether the top is at hand w/ KO? Who the hell knows anything about tops around here. Certainly not me. This whole market is going from the ridiculous to the sublime. Where's Alan Greenspan with an "irrational exuberance" call when you need him? The market is certainly more highly overvalued than it was in Dec '96.
