This wouldn't concern me, but coming in lighter wouldn't be that big of a deal to me. I wouldn't mind the opportunity to buy some below 40 in another month, though I doubt we'll get that chance. RE: preannouncement, is WCII in the habit of raising expectations like this? It doesn't seem as likely to me that this could be a reason for the lift today, but interested in your all previous experiences. At SOME point, some of those 5MM short shares may have to wake up to the strength of this company and industry.

Steven, I agree that from the action in the stock yesterday afternoon it would appear that some news is forthcoming shortly. I'm a pack rat (and on the fax list) and have saved the company's press releases. They announced line installation numbers for the 2nd quarter on July 8, for the third quarter on October 10 and for last quarter on January 14. If history is a guide, I would anticipate line installation numbers during the later half of the week after next. We should be getting some news on the switches soon, but the action in the stock would indicate more significant news than that. Things had gotten quiet on the board. Nothing like a nice up day to get people posting. Ed
