Mark, After having done a little more research, it seems that the best chance LDII has of making any real moves is in their Larson-Davis Sensar division. It produces time-of-flight mass spectrometers (for the analysis of high purity gas) and CrossCheck products (which measure chemical changes over time in materials such as oils and polymers). Micron and Intel are both re-considering Utah. Micron already has the buildings, but no fabrication. These spectrometers are a critical piece of manufacturing contamination free chips. My contact is an old employee of Sensar Corp. and keeps in touch with a couple of the scientists. Has no contact with management. Bryan
