Not to pick a fight or anything but - from something I heard on the radio last night. Weren't the Boy Scouts originally conceived as a more inclusive, open alternative to denominational young men's associations? If so - I'd like to see the Boy Scouts concentrate more on the "good works" end of their job, teaching all comers scoutcraft and the marvelous paradox of self-reliance through teamwork. Ideological fits over agnosticism and sexuality tarnish the picture imho.
