to all (sorry big dog and cat girl - I know it's late so this can be a question for the early birds)
I've got a bug up my crawl and would like to get it cleared up <g>

Everytime I hear someone talk about long-term in this sector, something has always bothered me, and it just dawned on me what that is (loose wire in the socket I guess- bit slow)

What caused the big decline of the oil bidness in the early 80's that caused Texas to fall on its head? Was it . . .

1. An over-supply of oil
2. Under supply of oil
3. OPEC
4. Deregulation of the market (?)
5. Them nasty Republicans <g>
6. All of the above
7. None of the above
8. Neutering of big dogs

Sorry if I'm sounding pessimistic. Have no intention of that. Just mighty curious and don't rightly remember.
Can you guys and dolls help me out?
Thanx, Challo

Gotta tell ya CatBabe, the whisper sounds more like CatDude.
