3Com is not honest, particularly this time. Briefing.com mentioned yesterday 3Com guided analysts from $0.35 down to $0.14 as a "clever" way to avoid warning humiliation. Now $0.02 is disastrous by any standard and the spin-doctoring 3com's management is doing is even more shameless than ever. "Looking to the future, Benhamou said, "It is now time to focus our operational and marketing expertise on each of our four target markets -- large enterprise, small and medium enterprise, carriers and network service providers, and consumers -- to leverage our global presence, increasing product depth and strong new product cycle." Why doesn't he just say "we are focusing on everything."? I want my old USRX back. The merger is a total failure.

As for tomorrow's stock price, I bet 3Com is going up! The market is not listening to the companies at all right now.

COMS will have a sore butt come tomorrow.>
