The American markets are the only game in town it seems. All that Asian and 401k money flooding in will lift all the boats except the ones without floors. There are a lot of really broken stocks out there without glamourous stories. These are the ones that should be shorted, not the Ballys and the Yahoos (yet). Hell, even the clochards under bridges are calling their brokers on their cell phones and trading their disability checks!

The right thing to do would be to buy up everything in Asia while its cheap...they'll be back soon if the American market doesn't fall apart and start a world recession.

Charles, the comparison was 1987-1998. Anyway, if I have any money left to profit from the fall when it eventually comes, I'll feel guilty and un-American too... for about five seconds.
