How do you do that? It runs practically the length of the East Bay, down into Silicon Valley. On my side of the pond it becomes the Rogers Creek fault. It's one big, long fault line that pretty much parallels the north-south freeways, isn't it? Continuing on from the Rogers Creek fault, we have the Green Valley fault.

It didn't make me feel to good when I read in the paper that the 80/680/780 freeways had a "fairly good chance" of holding up in the event of a 7.0 quake. In fact, that bit of news made me feel downright dispondent!
