Microsoft Corp. warned analysts that financial results for
the rest of the year will be lower than the current quarter.

"Business is quite good, but it's an odd time. The next
three quarters appear to be slower in growth (than
previous quarters) and perhaps absolutely smaller in
earnings per share," said Microsoft Chief Financial Officer
Greg Maffei in an impromptu conference call Tuesday
night.
