iD going to ION Storm?

" Also with ID going to ION Storm it looks like Quake III will be too. Hexen III too. "

I don't know what you try to say? ION Storm is not a distributor. What news lead you to the connection between ion and id? The only relation I know of is that ion uses the quake engine for some of their games. If there will be a product called Hexen 3 I'm sure atvi will distribute it since Raven will make it and atvi own Raven.

If atvi makes a deal with id for quake3 I hope they will make a better deal. The one for q2 seems to leave atvi without any profit.

CL,

Jesper is right. Any sequel to Hexen II will be ATVI's since ATVI bought out Raven last year. Also, I believe John Romero left iD software several years ago to form ion Storm. John Carmack has since taken iD to new levels.

Turns out that Battlezone works great...great graphics apparently...on software only mode....i.e. it doesn't need a Voodoo board.

But you are right about one thing. Just because a game gets great reviews, doesn't mean it will sell well. Look at the Quake expansion packs...Scourge of Armagon and the other one....they had great reviews but no one bought them. I'm hoping BZ doesn't burn brightly only for one month.
