I agree, there are definite cycles, but they are not always for the same reasons imho. We have computer systems everywhere and so P.C. is only one of many many systems (again, just my way of thinking about it) so if P.C. is not so interesting we still have space applications, communications, etc. etc., and who knows what next.

I also consider that software boom cycle typically comes b/f market correction/crash (also steel) so I'm watching that closely for warning....plenty to go still though, although I expect a pullback from my targets. The only way I keep moving with this market is to have representatives from all the "in" sectors/indexes playing in my band :)

By the looks of my stocks' pre-market volume this is going to be a big day. Glad I loaded up for the past two weeks and under such stress, too. <g> I doubled my BORL position 2 days ago. MSFT good news is that software is doing well. Hope that's good for everybody today.

I want to compement you on your excellent writeup in the SI newsletter released today. I continue to learn a great deal from this thread.
