I have been following this thread since November and have been very surprised at how negative a number of the replies have been. The first point that should be made is that this is a penny stock and as such will need a lot of patience. The fact that we have moved into the development stage is very positive and should pay off in the long run. Second point is that gold has gone to major extremes with regard to how pessimistic everyone has become. Ask the average person about gold and whether you should buy and they think you have gone crazy. So, from a contrarian point of view now is the time to buy and hold. The third point is that the weather due to El Nino has effected BCMD and slowed their progress which is only a temporary phenomenon. The final point I would like to make is that when a stock has a major surge like BCMD it always falls back 50% or more due to the number of traders in the market and then will slowly recover over a period of six to nine months to get back to the old high. The emotion that people have when big news comes out is always overdone and is overly optimistic. My current take on BCMD and gold in general is that we have seen the lows and by the end of 1998 we will see a major rise in gold mining shares and the POG.
