Fred
technology is highly evolving field. What great today maybe a dog tomorrow.

I see the main current advantage of intel is not their design but rather their market share combined with financial strength. The main disadvantage that it is too big for its own good.

I see the main advantage of amd is the market need for a competitor. The main disadvantage is the limited cash resources and the yields or Jerry's poor management

Both of the companies got fairly competative designs with pros and cons in each.

Good Afternoon Fred,

Thank you for that brilliant reply to Albert regarding Intel and Amd. I guess that he may have been getting flamed too much over Intel's other thread and so he wanted to come here and see if he could shake up some dust. I think that you, Sonny, Ann, Margaret and all are fully appreciative of his agenda.

Have a good evening
Good Health, and Prosperity to you
Frank
