I do not think the new fab is up and running. Can someone verify this. The last I heard from the company was that it would start production sometime in June. If that is the case, do not expect any earnings surprises from the new fab.

I would not count on the new fab working as well as expected given the complexity nature of GAs processes in term of control. My source is telling me that Triquint is battling with yield problems since they moved to the new fab as of Dec. And this is just moving the existing equipments over and maybe with a couple of new equipments getting on line. Even with their fab up and running I would give them 2 quarters or so to get things under control.
