Yes, but it is precisely this sort of news which precede a stockmarket trunaround - although the marginal producers will be the ones which lead. Pity it has to be on the back of so much distress.

There are a number of points we can derive from Samantha's commentary:

1. An "equity deal" appears to be the preferred option for PFG so Park's scenario is well within reason (hopefully less shares will be issued).

2. Using "our cash to grow the company" is dependant upon the "equity deal" taking place ... that it would seem is why PFG is not out spending their money frivolously at this time ... `til then looks like we are on hold.

3. Part of understanding the "symbiosis" between major and junior is the realisation that whatever deal is made, it must be fair (or at least appear to be fair). If not, why would any junior in future deal with a major at all.
