I sure do . . .Hee Hee.

I read the article mentioned two posts back. My response is that the meetings are called "Opportunity Meetings" for a reason. Recruiting is a way to generate volume. Attendees are there to learn the ins and outs of the entire business. There are a thousand ways to sell products and make money. One cannot possible cover all the retailing methods in the short hour long meetings.

Additionally, the product line is so vast that it is impossible to discuss in detail. The products are discussed in terms of the vendors and their respective lines in general terms. The meetings that I have attended and organized have all had elaborate product displays and detailed discussions of the products are part of the "mixing and mingling" that goes on after the entire presentation is complete.

These products are very exclusive (to this industry) and cause quite a conversational stirr with each current rep sharing with the potential reps ways to sell these products. The product line consists of luxury "want" products as opposed to everyday "needs" products. That is not as true now that the Heritage Essentials Line was introduced.

Just my own personal thoughts and opinions.
