Jim,

I just got into the market in 1996, and didnt know what I was doing at that time. I got in right at the time that all the small/micro caps were flying.

I mentioned that since we are aware of money rotating to more value and speculative sectors. If I recall the small/micro-cap area was really hot for about a month, back in 1996. Wonder if that will happen again this year, but have noticed more speculation in the micro-cap sectors recently. Maybe it wont be as strong as 1996, but just the fact that noticable rotation to that area may be a hint of whats to come.

I will be ready in mid-April to pull the trigger on alot of PUTs, but there are hints that the big pullback should start in MAY.

Lets come up with another name - how's the SATURATION THEORY, where money just keeps on rotating and it ends when the money rotates into the small/micro-caps. If I recall correctly in 1996, April was the really hot month for the small/micro caps. Lets keep an eye on the RUT.

We should get BART's opinion since he indicated that he plays some of the small stuff. Hey BART - any comments.

Seeya

Jim

I find MSFT actions very strange

They are known for doing the exact opposite .....

what do you attribute this to???

bailing out the tech sector...or maybe Bill Gates lost too much of his paper gains....

Ron Insana came on talking about how much money gates made on the increase and brought up how many meals at McDonalds it could buy and could feed the hungry population of the world or a country or something....

home sales came out and the market is backing off some...
