Those promises were given to all those of the faith of Abraham. Don't dodge my questions. Does God nullify His own words and violate His own character? Will He set aside the principles of the New Covenant and grant salvation to people who didn't want it or ask for it? If what you are saying is true that is what Hw will have to do, isn't it? Some time ago I worked with a woman who's husband is Jewish. She is not but is worried about her husband's salvation. She asked me if her husband would be in God's Kingdom because he was Jewish if he didn't accept Jesus. I had to point out to her that even Jesus said to Nickodemus (sp) that "You must be born again", He said that to a Jewish person who kept the law and had every reason to think he would get into the kingdom if it were possible on the merit of who he was. But Jesus said NO. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. And Jesus calls but He doesn't force. Where is free will if God uses force? There are too many problems with the idea that all Israel will be saved or that Jewish people who perish without Jesus have some other way or chance. It is insupportable. If that were true why spread the Gospel to Israel. Why did the first century church even exist if all would get in anyhow. Jesus would have said go to the gentile nations because all Israel will be saved anyhow. It's absurd that you could even consider what you are saying could be true. I hope you can see what I'm saying here. Bob
