before u get TOOO bullish on sunw, u see MSFT PRE-announced earnings when they lost java logo. MSFT brought up the whole Naz (mostly lots of short covering). Sunw does not have power to move the tech sector.

What u r finding out about appliances today, MSFT has known all along and it will do everything possible to destroy sunw, and harder it is to destroy more energy (more lawyers) will be on MSFT payroll.

so don't over buy sunw. I keep sunw to small % of my portfolio. Though, i have a friend at sun who is very very bullish and expects it to double by year 2000.

Have a SUNny day!

JDN:

Yes I agree with you 100%. I am also very bullish on SUNW despite the fact that I sold 90% of my holdings in the stock earlier last month. I still want to buy back all my shares, but I continue to think the stock will see the $33-$38 range once again before hitting $50's and $60's. And the reason has absolutely nothing to do with company fundamentals but as I said before IMHO just the market perception.

In any event high techs seem to be having a party today, and I wished I could understand the exuberance!! But oh well... I continue to be 65% in cash but will be fully invested once all Q1 earnings are out even if I have to pay extra $'s than what they are worth now for the stocks I want to buy. But will not jump back in stock before Q1 earnings. I still think we will see a dramatic correction starting end of this week/begining next week. And yes I do realize in the exuberant atmospher we are living at this time this sounds very idiotic! And it may very well end up being as such!
