All -

Just put in a stop loss order for my entire position. I expect it to fill before ten o'clock.

KE's departure anticlimactic

Well, it looks like there has been no massive reaction to KE's departure among shareholders and traders.

It's possible that all the bad news is in and KE's departure is just the end result of intense shareholder dissatisfaction. After all, who want's to run a company where you're viewed as a failure by the owners and your decisions are held in contempt or at least not believed in. I doubt he was looking forward to his April confrontation with the lynch mob in Roy. High hotel bookings probably tipped him off.

It is also possible that the big investors who appear to be defending the stock at 7 influenced his decision to leave.

We (the longs) still own a company that has a commanding lead in the low end removable storage market and has a product line that appears to be selling well if not growing. We still have a lot of cash, good credit rating, good brand equity, and progress on click. Click is not here now but it is well positioned to ride with the growing popularity of digital cameras and palm sized computing devices.

IOM is definitely not a failed company with no future prospects for growth. I believe the current valuation which appears to be holding reflects this outlook. We may be dead money for a while but at least we're not dead investors.

Looks like SYQT reacted positively to the news. 450,000 shares just went off at $2.843 ask.

My .02
