Why was that in the financial post today ? Denis DeLaplant told me about that a few of months ago and I posted with no reference to his name but could never find verification of the trade on either of the insider trader sites that I try to watch. Denis informs me that the sites that I look at are not as good as paying for the information through some service he knows of. He that the only insider trade that the financial post mentioned? That is the only one that I have ever heard about.

Sounds to me like Mr. French, in essence, shorted the stock at $8.75 to $16 to be covered with his low cost options. Nice work, if you can get it.

Sounds like the directors of this company knew what was in store for the stock price when it was in double figures.

Oops, disregard the above. I had originally read that he excersised his options if Feb. 98. Actually Feb. 97. Never mind.

Eva, up to Black Friday, French is the only registered insider who scooped a nice profit on options. since then, I can't help you as I don't bother with it anymore. His timing was perfect tho... I wonder what the offshore accounts did then...
