Allen: You're right. I am not a shareholder but am still a call holder. Still, I think Rocky's our man. We can have a new slogan - "Explore Your Stuff" <ggg>

Jeez, if you guys don't bail now, you're either in it so deep you've got the "might as well ride it to the bottom mentality" or you're just plain ignoring all the indicators. I was out at $9 5/8 after watching it plummet from $15. You've got to know when to take your losses, folks.

KE was what made this company into what it is today. With him gone, you have a ship without a rudder.

Good luck to all -- you'll need it.

Allen, I have always had a high regard for your views and comments with regard to Iomega. The product, the company, the staff are the same today after KE's resignation as they were yesterday before his resignation. Everything that can happen, or can be said in the degrogatory sense against Iomega has been done or said, yet the stock at this point is only down 1/4. It would seem to me that those of us who have believed in Iomega so long should hang in there and not abandon ship. It may take a while, but I would like to think that Iomega will be in a much better position a year or two from now that it is today.

Harry

GREETINGS FROM ROY

I'm just getting used to my new digs around here. The unexpected call late last night caught me by suprise, and the frantic voice at the other end promised this and that-- how could I say no? I must say, the sky is certainly clearer here than NYC, and the people a little less, well, New Yorkish. Take this as you will. I am preparing for my upcoming speech at the Shareholder's meeting.. here, how's this so far?...

GREETINGS! (boo hiss). My name is Rocky (booo), the new CEO of Iomega! Under my direction, this billion dollar company will seek to survive in a heavily competitive, and completely saturated market. I will be your new captain in our voyage through this hi-tech North Atlantic! (boo hiss) Thank you, thank you. This reminds me of little story. (get off the stage you bum!) Oh, I see Mike Coley is here, come on up here, Mike (Go to Hell!) Who-hey! Looks like Mike isn't really in the mood, have you tried the cheese fries in the back? They're DELISH!

Anyway...

- The resignation could be a signal that the upcoming loss will be more towards $25 Mill (perhaps more) rather than only $10 Mill.

- KE did the best that could be done with what was a failed premise anyway- Making Zip replace the floppy drive. This could never happen- But it makes for a good story. A story that can spur more sales to a few more consumers, and also spur more interest in the stock.

- KE's resignation IMO was NOT a forced one. KE simply did not want to face the music at the Shareholder's meeting, did not want to endure another CC, and did indeed get caught with his pants down during this drive glut.

-I have already posted that I thought KE would not be CEO for long. This resignation should not influence the stock price much, because it isn't the management itself that raises flags of concern. It's the overall storage market and competition factor that has a more direct effect on IOM stock price.

-KE probably wants a fresh start somewhere else. He might be a good builder, but a less successful maintainer. What tech company is in the dregs right now? Look for him to go there.

- Still no OEM'S for Vapor! He probably feels this is his greatest failure.

This news breaks on a heavy tech Up day--very fortunate for Iomega investors. Does anyone know if his resignation means that he can cash in ALL of his IOM positions immediately?
