does Reuters allow you to scan within the DB? If so what parameters are available? What is the cost? Any problems with bad data? How many years of info are available? Do you get fundamentals? Technicals? Are the scans fast? Or do you have to transfer all to MS and then scan?

thanks

It would be nice to have one data source that

1. Does not require transfer of data to MS format thus creating two data files.
2. The ability to prescan all stock data( 10000 plus indexes etc.) using both fundamentals and technicals.
3. the ability to clean up splits and name changes etc.- without having to worry about MS files being different.
3. A good coding language allowing most anything to be used as a scan parameter.
4. The ability to merge and save prior scan info without duplicating data.
5. the ability to view one scan in MS without having to rescan 10000 stocks.
6. A good price with data feeds before 8 eastern time and very clean data.
anyone know of a company that can do all of that???
