Analyst roundup thus far: Wednesday March 25, 10:52 am Eastern Time RESEARCH ALERT - UBS downgrades 3Com NEW YORK, March 25 (Reuters) - UBS Securities said on Wednesday it downgraded its rating on shares of 3Com Corp. to hold from buy after the company reported below-forecast third quarter earnings. -- 3Com posted third quarter earnings of $0.04 per share, lower than UBS and Wall Street estimate of $0.14 per share. -- Company did not change operating margin guidance of 16 to 20 percent but did change the way it gets there, analyst Scott Heritage said.
