Analysis at close on 3/25/98. Updated AMAT through XCIT. All commentary is at the time of the last signal received. NASDAQ Last signal sell on 19 Mar. Not a real commanding break up today. I think I would ignore the signal. Slight uptrend and the volatility is increasing to the upside. (25 Mar note--uptrend and increasing volatility still looks good.) ADPT Last signal buy to cover on 23 Mar. Neutral trend sitting on lower bollinger band. AMAT Last signal buy or buy to cover on 25 Mar. Just beginning an uptrend after today's upgrade. AMD Last signal sell or sell short on 18 Mar. Neutral trend. Expect a run down to the $20 to $21 level. AMGN Last signal sell on 16 Mar. 25 Mar note--Getting close to a buy signal on very strong uptrend. AMZN Last signal sell on 25 Mar. The trend is neutral. AOL Last signal buy on 23 Mar. Good solid uptrend still. ARX Last signal buy on 10 Mar. ASA Last signal buy to cover on 19 Mar. Volatility is getting really low. ASND Last signal buy to cover on 19 Mar. Trend is still down. I think this just completed a basing pattern. Should be starting a fresh uptrend. Upside resistance is at about $1.80. 25 Mar note--still very close to giving a sell signal.
