Yes, people should not take the side of the stock they take too personally. Me, I got tired of waiting. I dumped 3/4 of my position at the open at 36 11/16.

Pancho

FWIW, I made quite a bit of money trading COMS from the long side buying COMS and USRX on the dumps the spring of 97, selling in July 97 at 56+, then rebuying I believe in August at around 45-46, dumping again at 52+ in September.... BUT on this last one I was screwed up all the way. My cost basis was appx. equal chunks at: 47, 43, 38, 36, 32.... You win some you loose some. In this last trade I lost.

Long term (more than a year or more away) the company may be fine but I am still very concerned about Asia and an overall world economy slowdown. I may be wrong. I am keeping a few shares (about 3% of my portfolio).

Who knows, for all I know the stock may reach 40 before March is over. I was just thankful that courtesy of this crazy market I took just a bit more than $1/2/share loss from yesterdays close!

ah, gee..., ah, you wouldn't by any chance have bought
a few shorts would you?

If so, why should I believe anything you say?

IHMO, if you guys had any brains you would go for the
big money making shorts - AOL, YHOO - your
supposedly strong stocks. Right now COMS is chicken
feed if you make any profit at all. All that risk,
just to make a few bucks - big deal. Guess life's not too
good for shorts lately. Maybe try again in first
1/2 of April. All MMs will be dumping after doing their
window cleaning/dressing.

Joe

Bob,

I got out completely today. Figure COMS is becoming much more of a lower margin company now.

Also, got tired of waiting for a recovery.

Rest of Nasdaq doing well today.
