Pierre, I know people talk a lot about the MSFT market cap, but in any time frame less than 10 years, I don't think it is an important number. BillyG owns about 25% of it, and he sells a little now and then but not much. Balmer has may 4-5% and the story is he never sells. Paul Allen sells more but still holds plenty. So 1/3 of stock is essentally 'dead' right now just from these 3. Then there's people like me. Holding for 3 years, I am up 500% now. It will cost me $25/sh to sell now - in taxes. Many people are in my position including the many MicroSofties who get their shares from stock options. This is a young group, and will generally be long term holders. The actual shares available to the market near term is probably < $100B. Eventually these other shares will pull down the pe but that's a long way off. The invisible hand of the trading mechanism has taken these matters into account. IMHO - regards, TK
