Could you clear up what you meant by Y2K only vendors? I suppose no Y2K related vendor likes to typecast themselves as "just around for Y2K" for obvious reasons. So, what I really was trying to say was "vendors that spend the majority of their time and energy on Y2K at the present time". Or, to cover myself, perhaps I should say "vendors who are perceived to spend...". Would you not agree that PTUS, SEEC and IAIC all fit that category? For example, the analyst for PTUS in his 2 and a half page downgrade of them didn't mention any other aspect of their business except Y2K. If it weren't for Y2K, would IAIC have gotten a partnership with CA, would ACLY with DEC? Would SEEC be showing up at all those Y2K conferences? Doubtful. (gg) - Jeff
