Ali I do not think it is an attempt to keep asp higher. It is more like releasing chip before they can build it and then putting a huge price on it so no one would want to buy it. Did not intel do the same thing with pii-300 last year? If amd is going to release k6-300 and it is a big IF then Intel would release pii-400 ready or not. Intel would not let amd close to their top speed no matter what a bit of cheerleading would not hurt :-)) Regards -Albert
