Yiwu: I understand your frustration with Datek, but you may be over-stating your complaints. The Disclosure Statement I posted dates from January 1997 and I've received no amendments. Your concerns regarding the middle of the month calculation and showing the average daily balance seem quite valid to me. I would add my own concern regarding their inconsistent communication and lack of respect for the legitimate concerns of account holders. It seems to me you might find comfort from going through the exercise I did in independently re-calculating the interest charged or earned. It took me about 30 minutes for a four page statement, but I type data quickly. You must first calculate the balance for each day of the month as well as the value of short positions for each day, for which you will need each day's closing prices. best regards peter
