Bob I must warn you and other new comers to this thread about Shalom's true beliefs. He is a believer in the Anglo-Israel Identity cult and believes the promises of God to Abraham and His seed are all fulfilled primarily in a racial manner exclusively to the Jews and the Anglo-Saxons. This cult believes the Anglo-Saxon and related peoples are the lost ten tribes of Israel and that all the promises of God belong only to the racial descendants of Judah and Israel--the modern Jews and Anglo-Saxons. He also believes in following the Levitical food laws and other ritualistic ordinances in the Old Testament. He once made the remark that the "levitical food laws apply even today". Shalom walks in the darkness of the Anglo-Israel Identity cult and tries to preach his false doctrines through deception rather than in the bright daylight. He does not have th courage and the integrity to openly and clearly prach his false doctrines. He cultivates the weak brethren with praises and backslapping, and loves to make a big show by quoting volumes and volumes of Scriptures out of context to establish himself in the minds of the innocent as a champion of the word. There is a veil upon his heart when it comes to unsderstanding the Scriptures and giving the fullness of credit to the Work of Christ in the Cross and Resurrection. He dilutes the Word of Christ with the work of the flesh. Beware. I will explain the meaning of some of his last quotations from Scsripture. "16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered." Shalom believes that "the seed as the dust of the earth" is not fulfilled in Jesus but in a biological and carnal way. He believes that the dispersion of the Israelites in the book of Isaiah under the Assyrian Captivity found their way to England and from their became as the dust of the earth through biological propagation. His carnal mind lives in world principles and myths. (I know about the Israel Identity myth and cult because I once flirted with it as a young Christian. It is a diabolical movement.) When Shalom qauotes: "Gen 22:17-18 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." Shalom is trying to spread the myth that it is not Jesus that blesses all the nation. Jesus is only a side show to the main event. It is the mighty Anglo-Saxon and Western European races who have blessed mankind with their economic and technological marvels. This may be true but it has little to do with the Gospel--in fact it has probably been a hindrance to the Gospel. The Israel Identity doctrines focused on worldly and carnal fulfillment. When shalom qotes: Gen 26:4 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;" These blessings according to Shalom come from carnal blessings of the Israelites and only to a small degree from the spiritual blessings Christ. The Anglo-Israel cult explains the entire Bible according to these precepts. The world is blessed by the carnal seed of Abraham. The blessings of the SEED of Abraham,which is Christ Jesus and His Crucifixion and Resurection, are reduced and subordinated to the carnal seed. I believe that some of the Israel Identity cultist are saved but they preach a Gospel that is foreign to the Gospel of the Apostles and disciples.
