Thank you Carl for responding to my questions. I hope you or anyone else don't mind answering a few more! The first one relates to your answer to my previous question about getting "called out" resulting in another premium charge--

1. Regarding the commission for selling the called out stock, would it carry the option commission or the normal commission for selling/buying stock?

2.If I write a call option and the stock exceeds the strike price after one week with 2 weeks left before expiration, and assuming the option is exercised, will I be notified of the assignment immediately, or at expiration.

thanks

To all:

I'm working on a strategy for investing in Leaps using the foolish 4 as a starting point... anyone interested in exploring it as an "option" (pun intended) and having me post my picks from time to time...

If I put it in a forum like this and get feedback from others I think it could be a good learning experience for all..

I won't be using real money at this time because I want to practice first.

Thanks,
Carl Fritch
