So all these gorgeous photo opportunities with people drinking bus exhaust are pretty misleading. The bus may burn pure hydrogen, but the cars probably won't.

Are the fuel cells that much more efficient than ICEs? Because unless they travel more miles per mole of CO2 produced, the only advantage I can see is a reduction in the incompletely combusted hydrocarbons that stink up our city streets. No small bonus come to think of it, but isn't the threat of global warming one of the fires under Ballard's stock price? (NPI) Have they overstated the environmental advantages of the fuel cells, or are they hoping to come up with a solution to storage problem? My buddy seemed to think they'd have to use neutronium tanks. That could add a lot to the cost and weight of a car. : )
