Argh!! Please don't buy Corel!
Has anyone actually used their software? I have a PC at work which has PhotoPaint, and I'm a computer literate guy, but I can't even draw a colored box on the thing! Photoshop is a powerful, complicated program, but gosh, it is pretty intuitive to draw a colored box!!
What would adobe gain... WordPerfect? They done a good job of staying out of Mister Softee's markets and capitalizing on achieving excellence where msft lacks, but why would you want to go against Word? And come on, ADBE beats Corel in every imaging category. I guess they might dominate the Canadian market.... Whatever! Listen up, ADBE! If you want to buy something, stick to your own stock. As PC software sales rise, you will penetrate Corel's markets, which will more than make up for Corel's entry into the Mac market, (and loyal Mac users will upgrade to PS5 before using CorelDraw!). Hell, netscape would be a better buy... PDF would be THE format on the internet!
