While we're seeing a parabolic rise, I'm not going to attempt to trade this one.

TAVA is just a $13-$14 stock. BIG money isn't in just yet. We're at the tip of the iceberg, and I wouldn't even care if we got stuck in a trading range between $11 1/2 and $14 5/8 until more fruitful announcements are made.

It's a double-edged sword for me. I'm dying to accumulate on a dip, but why the heck would I want my single largest holding to sink??

The company is just beginning to execute its Y2K business plan. I refuse to bail at Mile Marker 1 of this marathon--even if we did start off in a sprint.

Best regards,
Joe

The corporation I work for is a Tava client and we have just been recently given instructions on what we can tell non-employees about our remediation effort. So this is what I can tell you...

The remediation effort has been designated as one of our 5 company-wide areas of emphasis for 1998. The effort is being led by a high-level, cross functional, cross business team, which reports to the CEO on a monthly basis.
The company is systematically assessing its own year 2000 readiness as well as that of its' suppliers and customers.
Remediation will be achieved by a combination of solutions, including the replacement, repair and retirement of affected components.

A web-based database is being used for entering inventory information.
An internal web site is being used to provide information to employees.

What I cannot share.
The status of compliance at this time.
How well the tools are working to achieve compliance.
And the number or percent of critical components in the company.
That's all for now.

By the way, notice the price rise in TAVA the last few days?
