<<and He has ALREADY chosen the rehabilitating path of love and compassion for us, by becoming man,by going to the cross, by conquering death. .>>

And after all that, he will choose to go away from the path of redemption through love and choose reedemption through punitative measures? I dont buy it.

<< Now He has to change His justness and His righteousness because of "mans" idea of compassion? >>

I dont think God's idea of compassion is to torture you into submission through fire and brimstone.

<<Is there no cost to be a Christian?? If not why would Jesus bother to say " If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me...">>

The cost would be seperation from God's love. Not eternal punishment and torture.

<<He did NOT say and " oh by the way if you choose not to follow don't worry aboutit everything's okey dokey...... >>
Again, I dont think the seperation from God's love is his way of saying "okey dokey"

11: Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12: Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13: They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14: And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15: But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
