They are in an isolated area and the contaminants dissipate with distance from the injection point. Engineering would have taken all
this into account. The state people are not going to put themselves on the line . They also have engineers to verify the calculations. Belive me (from my own experience) they surely did their homework.

I can't see there being a problem if the state has signed off on it.

Would think it would be the states responsibility to police what they have approved.
