I think you would have a hard time proving that "FACT". I hold to my original statement. Herd mentality.. When one leaves, they all tend to leave. Just a matter of who is first and who is last. No one wants to be left standing when the music stops. Thus you get a concentrated large amount of selling over a very very short period of time. Especially in the case of a stock with a small float. Takes much smaller amounts of buying or selling to move it. Why do you think everyone keeps talking about liquidity in the large cap names??
